Creamy Skillet Lasagna
Creamy Skillet Lasagna offers all the comforting flavors of traditional lasagna but with a quicker and easier preparation method. The creamy cheese mixture adds richness to the dish, making it irresistibly delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, and cook until onion is softened
Stir in marinara sauce and water, then add broken lasagna noodles
Bring to a simmer
Cover and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender
In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and heavy cream
Once noodles are cooked, remove skillet from heat and stir in the cheese mixture until well combined
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving
