Campfire Pepperoni Pizza

If you go camping, you can use a pudgie pie maker and a campfire to make tasty pepperoni pizza. An easy and fun way to enjoy an old favorite in the great outdoors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions:

Preheat your pudgie pie maker over the campfire until it's hot

Roll out the pizza dough on a flat surface and cut it into circles slightly larger than the size of your pudgie pie maker

Lightly spray the inside of the pie maker with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking

Place one circle of pizza dough in the bottom of the pie maker

Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce over the dough

Sprinkle a handful of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce

Add a layer of sliced pepperoni

Place another circle of pizza dough on top of the fillings

Close the pudgie pie maker and lock it shut

Cook the pizza over the campfire, turning occasionally, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted usually 5-7 minutes

Carefully remove the pizza from the pudgie pie maker, and let it cool for a minute before slicing

Enjoy your campfire pepperoni pizza!
